Why are some products out of stock?Updated 2 months ago

Because we source exclusively from family farms, our inventory depends on their farming schedule.

Our farm partners work off a production system that is good for the environment, their animals, and the consumers who also purchase their products. Most of our farm partners utilize a multi-species rotational grazing practice and process/slaughter different species throughout the year.

Because of this rotational system, not every animal is being raised and slaughtered year-round. Some of our products are seasonal, and if they are out of stock, they will become available to us again when our farm partners have the inventory to supply us.

As much as we'd love to have every product available at all times, we choose to be selective in how we source as the farms we work with and the quality of their products is integral to who we are.

That being said, as we grow, we continue to reach out and talk with more family farms in hopes to source more products. Adding a farm partner can take time as each farm has to navigate USDA regulations, write processes and procedures on how to capture new products safely (HACCP plan), and train their workforce to store/package items correctly until they have enough product ready for transport.
