You do not! The power of dehydration naturally preserves our products and makes them extremely shelf-stable! Just store in a cool/dry place and you are good to go!

With our bagged products, we do recommend using the treats within 4 weeks after you open them (mainly just for freshness).

And for chews and hides, you can keep everything in a cool/dry place and easily get 6+ months without the need for refrigeration.

All of our dehydrated products are free of preservatives and pesticides, and although it is very uncommon, bugs or mold (from added moisture) could appear if stored improperly.

For chews and hides, avoid sealing them in plastic or containers that can trap moisture, especially after a chewing session. Allow the chew to air out and store in a cool/dry place.

If longer storage is needed, the fridge/freezer can be a great way to keep our products fresh, and away from bugs and pests that might show interest.
